1. CUSTOMISED TRIP DEPOSIT AND FULL PAYMENT POLICY

The following applies for all Tailored Myth Customized Trips that do not include a Villa Rental or a Cruise Trip in the accommodation itinerary.

1.1. Customized Trip Payment Schedule

A 40% deposit per person is required at the time of booking, all of which counts towards the cost of your trip. A 100 Euro per person non-refundable service fee, with the exception of travelers under the age of 2 years old, is required at the time of booking in order to confirm your Tailored Myth Customized Trip. This service fee is in addition to the price of the Customized Trip and is not credited towards the cost of the trip. Final payment is due 45 days prior to departure. If your reservation is made within 45 days of departure, the entire cost of the trip must be paid at the time of confirmation. Failure to provide full payment according to above outlined schedules will result in cancellation of your Tailored Myth Customized Trip, and no refund of payments made to date will be provided by Tailored Myth.

1.2. Customized Trip Cancellation/Refund Policy

Cancellations result in costly charges from travel and hotel providers, including fees and penalties associated with the cancellation of confirmed tickets and hotel rooms. Therefore, the following cancellation fees apply:

50 days or more before departure will be subject to a 40% Euro per person cancellation fee.
49-30 days before departure will be subject to a cancellation fee equal to the greater of 50% of the Customized Trip price.
29-0 days before departure will be subject to a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the Customized Trip price.

Tailored Myth reserves the right to cancel a confirmed booking and refund only the appropriate portion of the deposit if full payment is not provided in accordance with our deposit and full payment policy.

2. VILLA RENTAL DEPOSIT AND FULL PAYMENT POLICY

The following applies for all Villa Rentals and Tailored Myth Customized Trips that include a Villa Rental in the accommodation itinerary, even if hotels are also included in the itinerary.

2.1 Villa Rental Payment Schedule

A 50 % deposit of the total package price is required at the time of booking, all of which counts towards the cost of your trip. A 150 Euro per person non-refundable service fee, with the exception of travelers under the age of 2 years old, is required at the time of booking in order to confirm your Tailored Myth Villa Rental. This service fee is in addition to the price of the Customized Trip and is not credited towards the cost of the trip. Final payment is due 60 days prior to departure. If your reservation is made within 60 days of departure, the entire cost of the trip must be paid at the time of confirmation. Failure to provide full payment according to above outlined schedules will result in cancellation of your Villa Rental, and no refund of payments made to date will be provided by Tailored Myth.

2.2 Villa Rental Cancellation/Refund Policy

Cancellations result in costly charges from travel and villa providers, including fees and penalties associated with the cancellation of confirmed tickets and Villa Rentals. Therefore, the following cancellation fees apply:

65 days or more before departure will be subject to a 40% Euro per person cancellation fee.
60-46 days before departure will be subject to a cancellation fee equal to the greater of 50% per person of the Travel Package price.
45-0 days before departure will be subject to a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the Travel Package price.

3. CRUISE TRIP DEPOSIT AND FULL PAYMENT POLICY

The following applies for all Cruise Trip arrangements and Tailored Myth Customized Trips that include a Cruise Trip in the itinerary, even if hotels and/or villas are also included in the itinerary.

3.1 Tailored Myth Cruise Trip Payment Schedule

A 30 % deposit of the total package price is required at the time of booking all of which counts towards the cost of your trip. If your package includes customized trip arrangements in addition to the cruise (pre- or post-program, Tailored Myth shore excursions, etc.) a 150 Euro per person non-refundable service fee, with the exception of travelers under the age of 2 years old, is also required at the time of booking in order to confirm your Tailored Myth trip. Final payment is due 120 days prior to your Tailored Myth Cruise Trip start date. If your reservation is made within 120 days of your Tailored Myth Cruise Trip start date, the entire cost of the trip must be paid at the time of confirmation. Failure to provide full payment according to above outlined schedules will result in cancellation of your Tailored Myth Cruise Trip, and no refund of payments made to date will be provided by Tailored Myth.

3.2 Cruise Trip Cancellation/Refund Policy

For the cruise portion of the Tailored Myth itinerary, guests traveling on a Tailored Myth Cruise Trip are subject to the cancellation and refund policies outlined in the Terms & Conditions of the individual cruise company that has been booked for them. If in addition to the cruise, the Tailored Myth itinerary includes hotel or villa accommodations, or other travel related services such as airfare or guided tours, the cancellation and refund policy outlined in section B 1.2 (for hotels) and B 2.2 (for villa rentals) will apply for the services that are provided in addition to the cruise.

3.3 Cruise Trip Supplemental Terms and Conditions

By your initials below you attest that in addition to the Tailored Myth terms and conditions you have received (via email transmitted by Tailored Myth), reviewed and are bound by the cancellation and refund policies and the other terms and conditions of the individual company that acts as a supplier for your Tailored Myth Cruise Trip, with the exception of the supplier’s payment schedule. Your applicable payment schedule for your Cruise Trip is defined in section B 3.1 of the Tailored Myth Disclaimers and Policies.

Tailored Myth reserves the right to cancel a confirmed booking and refund only the appropriate portion of the deposit if full payment is not provided in accordance with our deposit and full payment policy. The cruise line supplier reserves the right to cancel the cruise per the supplier’s terms and conditions.

4. SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION:

4.1 Cancellation Insurance:

It is the traveler’s responsibility to protect his or her purchases. Travel Insurance is strongly recommended and in particular cancel for any reason insurance. Tailored Myth may provide information on optional trip cancellation insurance, please contact Tailored Myth for information on cancellation insurance.

4.2 Limits on Tailored Myth Responsibility:

Tailored Myth and/or its subsidiaries and agents (“Tailored Myth”) act only as an agent for the hotels, villas, restaurants, airlines, bus companies, ship lines, owners or contractors providing accommodations, transportation providers, or other service providers (“suppliers”). By acceptance of any Tailored Myth Trip membership, receipts, or tickets, the Tailored Myth client agrees that Tailored Myth assumes no liability for any loss, injury or damage to a person or property, or otherwise any connection with any accommodations, transportation, or other service, resulting directly or indirectly from any acts of co-travelers, suppliers, nature, or dangers, delays, cancellations, and incidents related to the sea or weather conditions, health related problems before, after, or during the tour, fire, breakdown in machinery or equipment, acts of government or other authorities, de jure or de facto, wars, whether declared or not, hostilities, civil disturbances, terrorist attacks, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferage, epidemics, quarantines, medical or custom regulations, defaults, delays or cancellations or changes in itinerary or schedules, or from any causes beyond the control of Tailored Myth or for loss or damage resulting from insufficient, or improperly issued passports, visas or other documents, and that Tailored Myth assumes no liability sustained or incurred by a Tailored Myth client as a result of any foreign causes and is not liable for defaults or breach of contract of those persons, suppliers, or companies not directly under the control of Tailored Myth. Tailored Myth shall not be responsible for suppliers’ failure to comply with any laws or any intentional or negligent actions or omissions on the part of such suppliers. Tailored Myth reserves the right to substitute hotels or villas or cruise lines with best available alternatives and make any changes in the itinerary where deemed necessary or caused by airline or ferry schedules, or other reasons. Land transportation is provided in accordance with the itinerary by private bus, minibus, or licensed cars, depending on the itinerary and the size of the group. By embarking on their travel, the traveler voluntarily assumes all risks involved in such travel, whether expected or unexpected.

1. CUSTOMIZED TRIP DESCRIPTIONS

1.1. Tailored Myth Customized Trips

Tailored Myth will arrange Customized Trips tailored to the needs and preferences of our guests. In addition to offering a greater level of privacy, a customized trip provides the opportunity to choose from a broad range of destinations, hotels, villas, and activities. These trips are generally offered without an escort, but can also include a Tailored Myth concierge upon request.

1.2. Tailored Myth Customized Trip Prices

1.2.1 Included: Tailored Myth Customized Trip prices include only those items listed on your Trip Itinerary Description and may vary significantly based on request. Prices generally include hotel and/or villa accommodations as noted in the itinerary, meals as specified, guided sightseeing and other activities as noted in the itinerary, land, sea, and air transportation within the destination country as noted in the itinerary, a Tailored Myth Recommendations Guide for selected featured destinations, and direct hotel taxes.
1.2.2. Not Included: The following items are not included in your Tailored Myth Customized Trip: airfare to the trip departure point and from the trip completion point, unless otherwise noted; baggage handling; nominal/variable city tax (collected by the hotel) if applicable; meals other than as specified in your tour itinerary; alcoholic and other beverages; personal expenses such as phone calls, laundry, passport and visa fees, vaccinations, and any other optional and incidental expenses.

2. VILLA RENTAL DESCRIPTIONS

2.1. Villa Rental and Tailored Myth Customized Trips that Include a Villa Rental

Tailored Myth will arrange Villa Rentals or Customized Trips that include a Villa Rental tailored to the needs and preferences of our guests. 2.2. Tailored Myth Prices for Villa Rental and Customized Trips that Include a Villa Rental

Included: For a Customized Trip that includes a Villa Rental, Tailored Myth Customized Trip prices include only those items listed on your Trip Itinerary Description and may vary significantly based on request. For a Customized Trip that includes a Villa Rental, prices generally include villa accommodations as noted in the itinerary, meals as specified, guided sightseeing and other activities as noted in the itinerary, land, sea, and air transportation within the destination country as noted in the itinerary, a Tailored Myth Recommendations Guide for selected featured destinations, and direct hotel taxes.
2.2.2. Not Included: The following items are not included in your Tailored Myth Customized Trip: airfare to the trip departure point and from the trip completion point, unless otherwise noted; baggage handling; nominal/variable city tax (collected by the hotel) if applicable; breakfast and meals other than as specified in your tour itinerary; alcoholic and other beverages; personal expenses such as phone calls, laundry, passport and visa fees, vaccinations, and any other optional and incidental expenses.

3. CRUISE TRIP DESCRIPTIONS

3.1. Tailored Myth Cruise Trips

Tailored Myth arranges Cruise Trips using select cruise suppliers. In addition to the Tailored Myth Terms & Conditions, guests traveling on a Cruise Trip are subject to the policies outlined in the Terms & Conditions of the individual cruise company that has been booked for them.

3.2. Tailored Myth Cruise Trip Prices

3.2.1 Included: Tailored Myth Cruise Trip prices are typically ‘cruise only’ rates, unless otherwise specified in your itinerary. The price of the Cruise Trip includes only those items listed in your Cruise Trip Itinerary Description and the cruise itinerary that you have chosen, as provided by the relevant cruise company. If you have also included a Tailored Myth add-on Customized Trip, the items included will be listed in your Customized Trip Itinerary Description.
3.2.2. Not Included: The following items are not included in your Tailored Myth Cruise Trip (unless otherwise specified): airfare to the trip departure point and from the trip completion point; baggage handling; meals other than as specified in your itinerary; alcoholic and other beverages other than as specified in your itinerary; personal expenses such as phone calls, laundry, passport and visa fees, vaccinations, and any other optional and incidental expenses.
3.2.3. As per the individual cruise company’s terms and conditions, as applicable, if oil prices move as per the cruise company’s applicable definition, Tailored Myth reserves the right to charge our guest’s credit card an amount equal to the amount indicated in the cruise company’s terms and conditions, if any. By your initials below you attest that you authorize Tailored Myth to proceed with such a charge, as applicable, without any further required credit card authorization.

4. OTHER INFORMATION

4.1. Payment

U.S. dollar payments or any non-Euro denominated currency payments will be converted to Euro upon receipt. If Value Added Tax or Municipal Tax for Tailored Myth, its subsidiaries, or its suppliers increases between the time of this agreement and the time the guests travel to the agreed destination, Tailored Myth reserves the right to unilaterally increase the total price of the travel package proportionately in order to reflect such tax increase, and therefore guests will wholly assume the cost of such an increase, if applicable. In the event a refund is provided, currency conversion costs and expenses associated with exchange rate fluctuations will be subtracted from such refund.

4.2 Passports and Visas for Greece and other EU countries

U.S. and Canadian citizens may enter Greece for up to 90 days for tourist or business purposes without a visa. The passport should be valid for at least three months beyond the period of stay. Non-US or Canadian citizens should contact Tailored Myth or the appropriate Greek consulate for information on necessary documents required. The above information on entry and exit requirements (for Greece) has been confirmed with the local authorities. However, these requirements are subject to change at any time. It is the traveler’s responsibility to check with the equivalent embassy and its consulates for up-to-date information.

4.3. Passports and Visas for other countries or Cruise Trips that include destinations outside Greece, The European Union

Guests are required to travel with a valid passport, exit and entry visas as required, and any other documentation required by either the home country or any foreign port visited. Guests are advised to consult the appropriate governmental agencies and embassies to determine applicable requirements. Tailored Myth will assist in providing information to guests, but assumes no responsibility for advising guests of immigration requirements. Cruise companies may refuse to embark or disembark a guest in the event that required documentation is not presented and shall have no liability whatsoever for a refund.

4.4. Hotel and Villa Accommodations Bed Arrangements

Double or Queen bedded rooms are provided in most situations. Hotel and Villa accommodations for Tailored Myth Customized Trips will vary subject to availability.

4.5. Active Tour Elements

Tailored Myth Tour Packages include some active elements and most tours include considerable walking, sometimes on uneven terrain. Many sites have limited access and involve stairs and inclines.

4.6. Travelers Needing Special Assistance

We regret that we cannot provide individual assistance to guests for walking, dining or personal needs. Persons needing such assistance must be accompanied by an able companion.
